FOUNDING STORY
The project was shaped by both personal experience and growing public concern around unfiltered online environments for children. After watching a 60 Minutes report on the real-world harms children can face when exposed to unsafe or unmoderated digital systems, Marissa began connecting those stories with her own experiences growing up online without guardrails.
Logging On / Logging Off was created to empower parents with practical tools, clear guidance, and safer defaults—so kids can explore technology without being overwhelmed, isolated, or harmed.
